Jay Rose is a native of Los Angeles, California. He

degree and was awarded a Juris Doctor Degree from Whittier College of Law in 1980.
The Law Offices of Jay A. Rose are located in the City of Van Nuys. He opened his law practice in 1982 and been a staple in the community for fifteen years. An active member of the business community, Mr. Rose is Vice President of the Mid Valley Chamber of Commerce, serves as a Commissioner on the Los Angeles County Commission on Aging, is a member of the Community Police Advisory Board and has served on the State Issues Committee of the Valley Industry Commerce Association (VICA).
The Law Firm of Jay A. Rose serves their clients in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts and Corporate Formation. Mr. Rose is a member of the Southern California Council of Elder Law Attorneys and an advocate and spokesman on senior issues. He served as Chair of the Senior Committee for the California Consumer Attorneys Association. Mr. Rose has been an invited speaker before such groups as Seniors for Action, Los Angeles Valley College Retire Faculty Association and a number of Mobile Home Communities in the San Fernando Valley.
Jay Rose is married to Melinda Rose and they have two children. Jay and Melinda Rose are both active members of their community. Jay is Past-President of Chatsworth Estate Homeowners Association and Melinda, an educator, works at Cal State Northridge and serves on the Chatsworth Hills Academy Task Force to develop goals and objectives. Both are active members of their children's PTA.
In recognition for his work in the community, Mr. Rose has
received a commendation from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, a Certificate of
Appreciation from the City of Los Angeles, Congressional Certificate of Appreciation from
Representatives Howard Berman and Brad Sherman, and Councilman Richard Alarcon. In 1997,
he received the Mid Valley Chamber of Commerce "Award of Excellence" for his
support and involvement in furtherance of the Chamber's goals and "Small Business of
the Year" from the United Chambers of Commerce and the Valley Economic Development
Center.
Mr. Rose has served as Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Municipal Court and Mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court Northwest District. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the California and Los Angeles Consumer Attorneys Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the California State, Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Trusts and Estates Section. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as the United States Federal Tax Court.
Jay Rose has been drafting trusts for over fifteen years. He has helped countless individuals and their families avoid the ravages of probate. He is dedicated to seeing that people have a choice in how their property is distributed and protecting that property from the courts and estate taxes levied by the government.
